The wall is probably one of China's most famous feature.
The construction of the wall started in 600 B.C.
When the wall was first built, it was not built as one big
wall. Instead it was many smaller walls, that different governments
put in place to protect themselves.
Later, around 221 B.C. the section of the walls were unified
as the different governments came together to form China.
In 1368, the wall was renovated, or fixed up. This
was not an easy process. It took over 200 years to complete.
