We are 3,653 mi from the city of Berlin, Germany.
The Berlin Wall separated many things. Mainly
it separated East and West Germany. It separated the friends and families
that lived on the other side of the wall. It also represented the separation
of Europe, by separating Communists and noncommunist. The celebration was
felt all over the world as the concrete wall and barbed wire that surrounded
West Germany was torn down, and with it the fall of the communist party controlled East Germany.
